open for business

Well it's raining today, day 2, and we have had a steady stream of people visiting our very beautiful and easy to find space since we opened on friday night.  With visitors coming from Rome, Manchester, London and surrounding towns and villages it has been a very good start.  There are 5 red dots already and lots of encouraging comments, one of the loveliest and often repeated one being; "doesn't the art work well together." As I sit here between flurries of people coming and going I like the variety of mediums that we have on display; oil painting, acrylic painting, pastel, pen and ink drawings collage, monoprinting, colour monoprinting and screen printing!  (posted by Ruth)
